Owners at a Glasgow venue say they are 'very disappointed' after retrospective planning permission to use their premises as an art gallery and event space was refused.
co-owners Nikki Fairfull and Afton Ferguson took over the space with the hopes of establishing the historic building as a wedding venue.
The planning decision notice stated:"The proposal was not considered to be in accordance with the development plan and there were no material considerations which outweighed the proposal's variance with the development plan." "We have full support from Glasgow City Council licensing board and as such have the correct licensing in place for the business."
"Our intention is to breathe life back into a listed building that has been derelict for 10 plus years and use it for a positive purpose.
