There's a growing concern that the looming end of the Covid-19 public health emergency could result in millions of people being kicked off Medicaid.

Oregon’s uninsured rate dropped from 6 percent in 2019 to a record low of 4.6 percent in 2021. The uninsured rate for Black Oregonians fell from 8 percent to 5 percent.
