Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell delivers remarks at an April 5 news conference on Capitol Hill. Or perhaps he’s thinking of Eric Greitens, the Republican candidate for Missouri’s Senate seat who was forced to resign as governor of the state in 2018 over allegations of campaign finance impropriety and sexual misconduct.
