Customers are encouraged to download the updated app that will take its place.
Apart from being able to scan their digital Clubcard in stores, the revamped app will allow shoppers to pay, view their points balance, spend Clubcard vouchers, order deliveries and check stock in stores. Additionally, Tesco customers will still have access to their previous points, coupons and vouchers.
Customers will still be able to collect points using their physical Clubcards in case they are not keen on downloading the new app More than 20 million people in the UK have a Tesco Clubcard, which entitles them to obtain reduced prices on designated products and earn points, which they can later redeem as vouchers for in-store purchases. Additionally, Tesco customers can utilize their accumulated points to receive discounts when shopping with one of Tesco's Rewards Partners.
