She and Bubba, high school sweethearts from “the Parkway” who went to B.C. Rain High School, have been married for 32 years now. Their now-adult children worked at the produce market growing up. Of the two, she’s the “people person” who enjoys visiting with everyone who shops at the produce stand. Usually, though, customers don’t linger for long. “It gets hot in here,” she says, wiping away a wet curl from her forehead. “They stop, get their stuff and go.”
