Five-star guard Marcus Johnson put some of his latest lessons to work at Midwest Live.
It’s the second time the junior point guard from Garfield Heights, ranked among the top 15 high school basketball players in the Class of 2026, made the trip. This time, he went as an Ohio State commit with his college destination
Johnson chatted up his teammates Saturday during wins against Westerville South and Grand Rapids Northview from Michigan. The Bulldogs blew out the Wildcats, who are led by a Mid-American Conference prospect in Kruz McClure, before edging the team from Michigan in overtime. “I’ve got to be there for my teammates,” Jackson said. “I’ve got a lot of good players and coaches around me. I’ve got to keep working.”
