No. 1-seeded Oaks Christian hit two home runs in the first inning — the first one a three-run homer from Kastor and the second a two-run homer from Knox — en route to an early 6-0 lead. Rylee McCoy hit a homer in the third inning to bring in two more runs, then Heaven Oliva bunted to drive in Knox, who got on base with a double, while Valley View had yet to get a base hit.
