The warning — which indicates “critical fire weather conditions” are happening or will soon happen — will be in place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., per the weather service. “Dry air and gusty northwest winds will combine for critical fire weather conditions. Relative humidity is expected to fall below 25 percent around noon and continue to lower through much of the afternoon,” the warning read.
The weather service said in “the peak of drying” during the afternoon, winds could be between 12 to 20 mph with 25 mph gusts.
