These NuraTrue Pro earbuds offer superb spatial sound and support for various codecs and Qualcomm's Snapdragon Sound platform.
Compared with the original NuraTrue earbuds, the new model has had some cosmetic changes with a different trim for the earbuds and the charging case, plus refreshed logos. This version now supports wireless charging and it's much faster at recharging when using the supplied USB-C cable.
The other major upgrade on the sound front is the NuraTrue Pro now have a spatial audio mode that’s on by default. It can be turned off. This is Dirac Virtuo spatial audio and should not be confused with Dolby Atmos or any other spatial standard. Each earbud has touch-sensitive controls for doing all the usual stuff like pausing the music, skipping tracks, taking phone calls or adjusting the volume. Using a combination of taps, double taps and triple taps, Nura has enabled six functions to be accessed easily. The tap functions can be customized using the Nura app. The app also has other handy functions like customizable EQ and ANC settings.
