Despite only being five weeks into Strictly Come Dancing 2023, it appears next year's series has already found its very first star - as a 00's talkshow legend teased he was joining
Although the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing may have only been on our screens for a matter of weeks, the much loved BBC dance show appears to have already bagged itself a contestant for next year’s 2024 edition!
Jeremy made the surprise admission as he and co-host Nicola Thorp interviewed Strictly judge Shirley Ballas, with the 58 year old star telling viewers that if the price was right, he would definitely be strutting his stuff on the ballroom floor."I’m quite into it now. I’m going to do it. Can you imagine JK on Strictly? I’d be crap!”
Shirley said: “I’m not going to give you an opinion Jeremy but what I will predict is that one day you're going to put your cha-cha shoes on and do it, that’s what I’m going to predict."Undeterred by his reluctance, Shirley then encouraged: “I want to see a wiggle and a jiggle… You have a beautiful shoulder line as a ballroom dancer and beautiful posture so I think it could be quite nice.
