Lauren Stevens befriended him outside of the pub and convinced him she was homeless
A woman has been jailed after tricking her way into the home of a vulnerable man in order to steal from him. The victim, who was in his 50s, was drinking at a pub in Bulwell one evening.
They went to his home and watched television before Stevens, of Hucknall Lane, Bulwell, left, saying she was going to buy drugs. The victim later went to bed but was later awoken as Stevens returned and entered the property.She struck the victim to the head and asked him where his ‘winnings’ were. Stevens filled bags with various items including cash, cigarettes, tobacco and a bank card.
The following morning the robbery was reported to police. Lauren Stevens was jailed for four years at Nottingham Crown Court on March 31 after pleading guilty to robbery at an earlier hearing.
