Sean Bean and Stephen Graham starred in the first series
Nottingham actor Bella Ramsey has been announced among the cast of the new series of the BBC crime drama 'Time'. The 19-year-old, who starred in HBO hit The Last Of Us earlier this year, will be joined by Jodie Whittaker, Tamara Lawrance and Siobhan Finneran in the three-part drama.
Time, created by Jimmy McGovern and in its second series, will focus on life inside a women’s prison. Arriving at Carlingford Prison on the same day, Kelsey , Orla and Abi are thrown together to face an unfamiliar world. But even with the ever-present threat of violence within its walls, they discover that an unexpected sense of community, and a shared understanding, still might be possible. Bella said: “I’m very happy to be a part of this project, working with an incredible team and following on from a stellar first season."And it’s such an honour to be Kelsey, I’m really excited to experience the world through her for a few months.
The series, which starred Sean Bean and Stephen Graham, won the 2022 BAFTA Television award for best mini-series. Filming for the latest series will take place in and around Liverpool soon.
