Latest Nottingham Forest news from NottinghamshireLive as the Reds are reported to have shown interest in signing Newcastle left-back Matt Targett
Nottingham Forest are said to have "asked about the availability" of Newcastle United left-back Matt Targett.
Forest will be keen to recruit a left-sided defender with Ola Aina the only current available option in that position after Renan Lodi's successful loan spell at the City Ground came to an end. However, Forest's reported interest in potentially securing a deal for Targett is said to have been rejected. Fulham are also said to have shown interest with the London clubs approach also reportedly knocked back.
