Latest Nottingham Forest news as supporters organise a tribute to late Nottingham Panthers player Adam Johnson
Nottingham Forest supporters are planning a tribute in memory of Adam Johnson, the Nottingham Panthers ice hockey player who died last weekend aged 29.
Forest chairman Tom Cartledge has "written a private letter of condolences to the Panthers to offer his sympathy and support", The Athletic reported on Monday. They also said that Forest have discussed tributes to Johnson for the weekend's game. "At Forest, a family club, we proudly embrace our role in supporting the communities we serve. We take very seriously our responsibility to help people come together for shared grief and comfort in the darkest moments."
