Allegations of sexual abuse, rape and assault made against Brand emerged last week, which he strenuously denies.
Comedian Nish Kumar has detailed why he believes Russell Brand hasn’t been featured on TV much for the past few years.
Late Night Mash host Nish was speaking on his podcast Pod Save the UK, as writes the Mirror, when he discussed the allegations with journalist Coco Khan and said he believes Brand’s TV career dried up around 2018/2019 because people were 'simply not willing' to work with him. "Until men start asking the hard questions about how we conduct ourselves, until people in powerful positions start asking questions about why they're indulging the whims of predators and monsters, until any of that happens nothing is going to change."
The incident allegedly happened in 2008 when the woman was working in the same building as the corporation's office in Los Angeles, BBC News reported. He said he “absolutely refutes” the claims made against him and says his relationships were “absolutely, always consensual”. ”Now, during that time of promiscuity, the relationships I had were absolutely always consensual. I was always transparent about that. Then almost too transparent, and I'm being transparent about it now as well.
