Day 2 of the 2019 NFL draft had plenty of surprises, steals, expected picks, and reaches. But who won and lost?

Cornerbacks: After just one player at the position was taken Thursday night , a run on corners kicked off the second round. The first two selections of the night were Byron Murphy going to the Cardinals at No. 33 and Rock Ya-Sin going to the Colts at No. 34. Six of the first 14 picks Friday night were cornerbacks and 10 were taken in the second and third rounds overall.
Denver Broncos: Some criticized general manager John Elway and the Broncos for passing on a quarterback in the first round, first by trading back from No. 10 and then by taking Iowa tight end Noah Fant at No. 20. Then they opted not to take on a passer early in the second round with the No. 41 overall selection, which they used on Kansas State offensive tackle Dalton Risner.
Arizona Cardinals: Yes, fans should get excited about Kyler Murray. But there’s no way you can look at the Rosen trade as anything other than a massive depreciation of an asset. The Cardinals selected Rosen with the No. 10 pick in last year’s draft, moving up from No. 15 to do so. They put him in a no-win situation behind an abysmal offensive line, switched offensive coordinators in the middle of the year and fired their rookie head coach after only one season.
