Fabrizio Romano has confirmed Newcastle have agreed to sign Southampton full-back Tino Livramento for a package 'more than £35million' plus add-ons.
The Magpies have almost invariably made smart acquisitions since their takeover by the Saudi Public Investment Fund in late 2021. You need only to look at the trend of their league finishes to see that.
This summer has seen them add Sandro Tonali, Harvey Barnes and Yankuba Minteh into the mix. It seems they’re soon to add Southampton full-back Livramento to that list, too.on the move from the Saints. He states the two sides have reached an agreement over the transfer, which will see Livramento move for ‘over £35million’, with add-ons on top of that.
The apparent confirmation follows reports that Newcastle had an offered knocked back not long ago. Indeed, it was reported the Magpies hadWhile the latest bid may not have been of that amount, the add-ons seemingly total a fee that Southampton are happy to part with their star for.
