Purely Slice is the new venture of James Birchall and Colin Robinson following the success of Purely Pizza in Burscough
Purely Slice, located in Birkdale Village, will start serving customers today , with its official opening coming at the end of the month. The restaurant is the new venture of James Birchall and Colin Robinson who are opening the venue on Liverpool Road after the success of their restaurant Purely Pizza in Burscough which launched nearly two years ago.
The pizzas - inspired by the pizzerias across Naples and New York City, considered the pizza capitals of the world - will be created using dough made using time honoured methods, with what they called a diverse and progressive take on locally sourced and inventive ingredients. It will serve 13 different types of pizza, with five available to buy per slice.Purely Slice will also sell salads, gelato and other desserts and a selection of sides and drinks from their Birkdale location.
The 13 types of pizza available will include Cheese, Pepperoni, Bianca, Nduja, New Yorker, Shroom and Truffle, Caprese and more. Customers will have a choice of 12 inch or 16 inch pizzas. The restaurant is looking to hire new team members including a pizza chef with training provided as well as an in-store team member and a deliver driver.
