SAN ANTONIO - As Memorial Day approaches, signaling the unofficial start of summer, officials in New Braunfels are bracing for what they anticipate to be their
busiest season yet.
The city recently garnered critical acclaim from Forbes Magazine, securing a spot among the top 15 cities in the country to visit. Cindy Espinosa, owner of a local Airbnb, dismissed concerns about dwindling visitors due to the lack of water, stating, "The good news here on the Comal River is it's spring-fed. So any kind of water in the aquifer itself absolutely helps us immediately," he explained.Wolf stressed the importance of safety, noting that the Comal River is about eight feet deep.
