The industry insider states that the iPhone 15 Pro Max may come with a next-generation Samsung panel capable of reaching an astonishing 2,500 nits of brightness. This would blow away anything else in the industry, including Samsung’s own newly released Galaxy S23 lineup.For comparison, all Galaxy S23 models deliver a maximum brightness of 1,750 nits.
For the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, I suspect the 2,500 nits level will again be reserved for a peak outdoor brightness mode. That said, the panel's capability still exceeds anything we have seen on the market, in any consumer product category, by at least 25%.
