Netflix unveils first look at Stranger Things season 4 part 2 with Vecna vs Eleven
, the five-day virtual event celebrating their genre series, films and games.
The 30-second video teased the inevitable end battle between the Upside Down's Vecna and Eleven, starting with clips of the bloody past-Eleven and Dr Brenner following One's banishment to the Upside Down and ending with Vecna extending his hand in a similar fashion to his younger prototype, presumably during a stand off with her."It is over Eleven," Vecna can be heard saying."You have freed me. You can't stop this now.
Just like with part one, the continuation of the season will see the group split between different locations – and continents – at least in the beginning. Newly-escaped Jim Hopper will also find himself in the middle of what appears to be a well-kept Soviet Union secret, a storage room packed with frozen demogorgons secured in sealed glass containers.
But demogorgons are not the only thing the Russians are hiding; walking deeper into the building, Hopper and Bauman come face to face with a far more concerning presence. What at first appears as a whirlwind of shadowed entities soon reveals itself to be a frenzied part of the Upside Down's Mindflayer trapped inside a glass vault.
