EastEnders star Jessica Plummer has traded Walford for the Black Death in Netflix's raucous new comedy-drama
Jessica Plummer, renowned for her role as Filomena in The Decameron, has swapped the ins and outs of EastEnders for the Black Death in Netflix 's recent medieval comedy.
In a period when the plague was wreaking havoc across Europe, noblewoman Filomena, along with her maid Licisca are given an opportunity to abscond from the epidemic at an opulent villa. Interestingly though, as viewers sink deeper into the plot of Decameron releasing tomorrow on Netflix, they'll uncover clandestine facets of Filomena.
The codependent servant of Pampinea , Misia "is quite a complex woman," Derry Girls star Saoirse-Monica revealed. "She's sort of always on the brink of something, usually a breakdown.
