Around 90 children bought the treats outside the Pulamadibogo Primary School in Soshanguve, South Africa Three men face multiple charges of attempted murder after selling ‘space muffins’ laced with cannabis to pupils in South Africa. Amukelani Nyulunga, 19, Ofentse Maluleka, 21, and Katelgo Matlala, 29, are all accused of getting children ‘totally stoned’, leaving them to suffer with nausea, stomach cramps and sickness as well as hallucinations.
‘Most were totally stoned and giggling wildly and tripping out but for others they were just being sick and had belly cramps. It is said they were offered two muffins for the price of one.’ Police quickly arrested the three men who still had some ‘space muffins’ in their possession. They were taken before local magistrates charged with the attempted murder of 43 pupils.
