Here comes the rain! Several hours of rain is expected today, beginning around mid-morning and lasting until mid-afternoon. In addition to the wet weather it will be quite cold with temperatures in the 40s and wind chills in the 30s all day. Some wet snowflakes may mix in to the north up toward the Red River today. There could be a light dusting of accumulation on grass and rooftops. Farther north, an all-out winter storm will spread several inches of snow across central and western Oklahoma.
DFW will see cold rain most of the day. It should begin to taper off by late afternoon. Rain totals are expected to be between 0.25-0.50." Light drizzle could persist into the evening. Sunshine returns Tuesday. As for temperatures, it looks to stay cool all week with lows and highs running below normal. Highs will range from the mid-40s to mid-50s with lows into the lower-30s to lower-40s.
