Naughty Boy has heaped praise on his ‘friend’ King Charles III and described him as ‘the most diverse’ monarch.
The 41-year-old producer took his first big steps in the music industry after receiving a £5,000 grant from the Prince’s Trust in 2005 – while also winning £44,000 on Deal or No Deal the same year – and he will forever be grateful to the King for supporting him.
The star – whose real name is Shahid Khan – admitted the monarch calls him by his stage name, although he thinks that will changed now his friend has become King Charles following‘I actually love the way the King calls me Naughty Boy – of course, this was then, I’m sure it’ll change,’ he quipped. ‘Also, I’m from West Watford and I was born on a council estate.
Recalling their first meeting, the DJ – who has worked with the likes of Beyonce, Emile Sandé and more in the past – admitted he bowed, but they have become more relaxed over time..
