The Mexican pop-rock, jazz and folk singer is out on tour in support of her latest album, “De Todas las Flores.”
Lafourcade is known for her operatic soprano voice, often combined with several genres, including pop, rock, jazz and bossa nova. Some of the singer’s most notable hits are “Hasta la Raíz,” “Tú Sí Sabes Quererme ” and “María la Curandera.”
She’s collaborated with some of Latin music’s biggest acts, including Juan Gabriel, Los Ángeles Azules and Omara Portuondo. Lafourcade also worked with singer Miguel to record “Remember Me,” a track featured on Disney’s 2017 animated film “Coco,” and recorded the Spanish version of the song “Recuérdame.”
In addition to her Billboard and MTV awards, Lafourcade has won 15 Latin Grammys, the highest number by a female artist. She also recently won a Grammy award for best regional Mexican music album at the 65th Grammy Awards ceremony.
