Midnight CowboyDesperate Souls, Dark City And The Legend Of Midnight CowboyThe doc is described as an exploration of the deeply gifted and flawed people behind a dark and difficult masterpiece; New York City in a troubled time of cultural ferment; and the era that made a movie and the movie that made an era.
The film is produced by Buirski alongside Simon Kilmurry and Susan Margolin. Claire L. Chandler is a co-producer. Additional credits include editing by Anthony Ripoli, cinematography by Rex Miller, archival research by Rosemary Rotondi, and music supervision by Doug Bernheim.Discussing the process of interviewing members of the originalcast, Buirski said: Basically we tried to include any cast members who are available. Of course, some of them have passed like Sylvia Miles.
