Mystery surrounding Harry’s 4-book deal as it becomes UK’s biggest selling memoir ever
Prince Harry's explosive memoir Spare has become the fastest-selling non-fiction book in the UK, selling over 750,000 copies across all formats since its release on 10 January.
The Duke of Sussex secured a £36.8m four-book deal with publisher Penguin Random House in 2020, leaving many wondering what could be set to follow after the release of Spare. The insider told the publication: “Nobody expected sales figures like the ones we are seeing. Harry could easily overtake the combined book sales of the Obamas, the company’s current joint best-selling authors.
However, there could also be a Spare 2.0 in the pipeline as Harry has revealed that his memoir was originally 800 pages but was cut down to 400, and could have "been two books".
