Nowadays mobile phones and emails and digital banking and trackers say no, which is why The Power of Parker is set in 1990. And it's an interesting question. Frankly, I couldn’t be bothered having an affair: my partner is nice enough, and fidelity saves time and money on underwear upgrades. It's got some nice jokes; this is not top drawer but it made me smile a lot. People who remember the 90s might enjoy all those references to the Rosemary Conley diet, Breville toasters and Rotary clubs, and the costume department clearly had a lovely time replicating hilariously horrible 1990s fashions
The show does improve as it goes on: the setup becomes more compelling, and the characters evolve. I do wonder if it is ever possible to forgive your sister for an affair, even if your husband is deeply unpleasant.Scott says"The series is a bit of a thriller you need to watch from start to the end" It’s not a Must Watch, but I must say that it is a good watch. I wouldn’t say this is unmissable, but there are many enjoyable moments in this sitcom.It is also a bit like Henpocalypse! where, instead of standalone episodes you can dip in and out of at any time, the series is a bit of a thriller that you need to watch from the start to the end.
