Dumfries musician Rory Nelson hit the right notes on popular TV quiz Countdown and even managed to gift host Colin Murray a copy of his band’s album.
“The blind comedian Chris McCausland, from Liverpool, was a guest on the show and one of the answers to a question was knife which we both got around the same time and he joked that it was typical that a Scouser and a Scotsman both got that correct. But I think they will cut that from the show when it airs.
