San Diego guitarist, singer and songwriter Rob Shinno won’t be pulling any punches Saturday night when he and his band, Hemisphere, celebrate the release of their latest album, “Unity,” at Humphreys Backstage Live.
Intriguingly, “Unity’s” most accomplished songs — including the gently inviting “Mr. Moonbeam,” the yearning “Shadowland” and the graceful “Laura in the Moonlight” — sound like perfect fits for a future musical theater production.8 p.m. Saturday.
