Murder probe launched as police believe missing woman, 31, may be 'hurt or deceased' with man arrested
A murder investigation has been launched in connection with the disappearance of a 31-year-old woman. Sarah Henshaw was last seen five days ago, at 9pm on June 20, at her home address on Norman Street, Ilkeston - but has not been seen since.
Detectives are also keen to hear from anyone who may have seen, or have footage of, a blue Ford Transit van in the early hours of June 21 around J29 of the M1 and the A617 in Chesterfield.A man has been arrested in connection with the investigation and remains in custody for questioning currently. Enquiries into Sarah's whereabouts are continuing.
Detective Inspector Maria Pleace said: “We have information in relation to Sarah’s disappearance that has led us to believe that she may be seriously hurt or deceased.
