BREAKING: Maryhill murder bid as man left with life-threatening injuries after attack
A man sustained serious 'life-threatening' injuries after being attacked by two men in Glasgow's Maryhill in the early hours of this morning.
The alarm was raised to police at 5.45am on Saturday, November 19 after a 40-year-old man was found seriously injured in Guthrie Street. He was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with life-threatening injuries. Medical staff describe his condition as stable. Detectives are looking for two men in connection with the attack, with one man believed to be wearing a white jacket with a 'Just Eat' logo on it.Detective Sergeant Stephen Palmer, Maryhill CID, said: “A man has sustained serious injuries as a result of this attack and we are appealing for information to help trace those responsible.
“From our enquiries so far, we are looking for two male suspects. They are both white, one is of a stocky build and dressed all in black, the other is of a slim build and wearing a white jacket with possibly a ‘Just Eat’ logo and a yellow/mustard skip cap. “I would ask if you recognise these men from the descriptions or were in the Maryhill area around the time of the incident and saw anyone acting suspicious, that you come forward and speak to police.Sign up to Glasgow Live's newsletter Get all the latest Glasgow news and headlines sent straight to your inbox twice a day by signing up to our free newsletter.
