A Scot has appeared in court charged over the alleged murder of a man following a 'disturbance' at a flat in Edinburgh.
He was pronounced dead a short while after. A woman, aged 37, was also found injured. She was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment to non life-threatening injuries, where her current condition is unknown. Atkins, from Edinburgh, made no plea. The suspect was remanded in custody with his next court appearance to take place within the next eight days.
