A young dad who felt he wasn't getting the care he needed died after battling mental health issues since the age of four.
Robert's GP Dr Olivia Moore said there were occasions when there had been emergency admissions or involvement and the health centre had not been informed. These included several incidents over the weekend before an appointment at Roselea Surgery in Bamber Bridge in which he begged the doctor to give him some benzodiazepines.
Robert's old school friend George Turner contacted police via email from the USA where he now lives after receiving a series of disturbing messages from Robert on February 13. These included him saying "everyone has their limits and I'm going to crack" and another in which he simply said "help".
In a statement to police Robert's mum Amanda revealed he had been named after her brother who died when he was 15. She said: "As a family we have lost two people and we feel broken. We thought he was getting better and he is very much missed and extremely loved by his family."
