Andreea and her family are hunting for a rental property in Leeds
A Leeds mum-of-three is desperately searching for a new rental home for her family - but claims she keeps being rejected because she has young children.
"We have now been rejected for three houses that we have applied for and we have an inclination its because we have three children, although its something you cant say for sure. We have properties we want to see and told have been told by estate agents that 'oh you have three children well the third bedroom isn't big enough to be a bedroom even though it's advertised as three bed'.
Andreea and her family don't have any pets and they don't smoke, but still seem to be struggling despite having a large monthly budget of £1,150 a month and the full deposit. She claims rental properties in Leeds are in high demand at the moment, which is the case for many people as the market is so fierce that homes are being taken off the market within hours of being listed.
