Katie Griffiths and her neighbours have created another incredible Halloween display
Katie Griffiths has always loved the spooky season, but the idea of turning the front of her home into a ghoulish grotto really took off in 2020 when the covid lockdown put a stop to trick or treating. Now, for the fourth year in a row, Katie's property on St Domingo Grove, Anfield has been transformed for the month of October, drawing crowds from far and wide to see the devilish decorations.
"It takes two weeks to put together, we were running behind this year we usually have it done for October 1 but we only started on October 8." "At first we weren't taking donations but people were trying to give us money. Then we thought if people wanted to give us money should we do it for a good cause, and we chose Alder Hey because nothing really comes close for us."
