Mum left £1,000 out of pocket after easyJet said her flight was cancelled – only for it to take off
The family were then rushed through the airport and made it onto their original easyJet flight home - only to run into more problems when back in the UK.
Natasha said the airline refused to reimburse her for the new flights and hotel, as they said she still made it onto her booked flight. She said the airline refused to take responsibility, and neither her insurance nor credit card were willing to refund her either. She added: "It's £1,000, I'm a single parent. If it were £100 or something, maybe I could just take it on the chin but £1,000 is a lot of money."They told Sun Online Travel: "Ms Williams’ flight from Berlin to Bristol on 11 December 2022 operated as planned with 177 passengers including Ms Williams and her family on board.
