She previously pleaded guilty to the attack
A judge heard how theFirst offender McIntyre was sentenced to three years and eight months at the High Court in Glasgow.
She had pleaded guilty in March to assaulting Miss Prentice to her severe injury, permanent impairment and disfigurement as well as to the danger of her life. The earlier hearing was told how the victim was at her mother's home when she spotted McIntyre driving past in her Volkswagen Golf.McIntyre initially drove off, but returned and headed straight for Miss Prentice."Miss Prentice was left pinned by the front of the car and her body was across the front.
"The Volkswagen reversed off at speed coming into contact with one of the parked cars before driving off."As well the spinal injury, Miss Prentice also suffered a punctured lung.The court heard the woman still has impaired mobility and continues to use walking sticks.Lord Arthurson cut the jail term from four years due to the late guilty plea.
