The mum says she feels like a free babysitter for the six-year-old as she has to 'watch like a hawk because she's not careful' around her 14-month-old toddler
When your child has a playdate with a pal after school, it can sometimes be a great feeling of relief for the parent who gets a short break for a while. However, it's important to not take advantage of this and turn your child's friend's parents into free babysitters, the Mirror reports.
The frustrated mother claims the little girl's parents allow her to wander over alone to their house as soon as they arrive home and says she is 'basically free babysitting'. Unsure what to do next without making things awkward between her neighbours, the mum took to Reddit to seek advice. "And the parents don't come too, sometimes they don't even know she came over. The girl watches our house from her bedroom window and comes over five minutes after she sees us come home.She explained the youngster 'loves her son' but it 'takes up her time' to watch her around him. The mum said she wanted to 'draw some boundaries without ruining the relationship with neighbours' as she asked for some suggestions on how to handle the situation.

You can hasten this by upping the number of times she can't come in, and when she does try to make it less fun - no TV or toys or whatever it is she likes to do.
