Multiple NJ TRANSIT​ buses caught fire in North Bergen on Wednesday.

It happened around 4:30 p.m. at a bus storage facility near Tonnelle Avenue and 18th Street inCrews were initially unable to get into the lot where the buses were being stored and had difficulty getting water onto the fire.Chopper 2 is checking out stories across our area. Tonnelle Avenue was shut for a period of time while crews fought the fire, but the roadway has since reopened. In a statement, NJ TRANSIT said the seven buses involved were decommissioned and no longer in revenue service. There's no word on the cause of the fire and no reports of any injuries. New Jersey Transit Police are investigating.
