Fans of the cleaning influencer Mrs Hinch have been sharing their top tips for banishing stubborn stains, such as blood, from your bedsheets

But there's no need to throw your bedding away and fork out for a new set, as it turns out there's a simple way to remove stains using a common and cheap household staple. People in the group were quick to come to her aid, telling her that all she needs to do is dissolve some salt in cold water and soak the sheets in the mixture.While another added: "Soak them in cold water with salt, my mum always did [this] and it works."
Another common tip was to wash the sheets at a low temperature once they've been steeped in the salt water mixture, which will work to remove the stains but without being too hot and setting them again.
