One woman said the parked car had moved 'ten feet up the road' in the incident at 11.45pm on Wednesday, before the other vehicle was found on fire hours later.
A motor believed to have crashed into a parked car on a quiet residential street was found torched four miles away hours later.

Police were called to the street and located a vehicle matching the description on fire at Mains Avenue in Beith at around 3.40am on Thursday - four miles from the scene.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a collision between a car and a parked car on Holehouse Drive in Kilbirnie around 11.45pm on Wednesday June 28. The car was subsequently driven away before officers arrived.
