After starting out the month with unseasonably cool temperatures in the 80s, Phoenix is back in the triple digits.
Phoenix will go as high as 104 this afternoon, nearly tying a record high of 105 set all the way back in 1917. While the Valley will see clouds increase on Sunday, at this point it looks like we're staying dry for at least the next seven days. Phoenix has reached highs at 100 degrees or hotter for 122 days so far this year, and it looks like we're going to add several days to that count during this stretch. The average number of days that are that hot each year is 111 days. The all-time record number of days at 100 degrees or more stands at 145 days, set back in 2020.
