“The public is prohibited from being in the forest area described in the closure order, including on the roads and trails in the closure area, due to many safety concerns related to the Mosquito Fire,” said Carol Underhill, a Forest Service spokesperson. “The fire is actively burning with 90% of its perimeter uncontained at this time.”
