Alfredo Morelos mocked by Celtic fans after VAR disallows Rangers goal
Alfredo Morelos was mocked by Celtic’s supporters after having a goal controversially ruled out.
The Rangers striker is seen as the pantomime villain to supporters of the Hoops who made the most of their chance to poke fun at the Colombian when VAR disallowed his effort.The striker was jeered when VAR disallowed his opener at Parkhead Morelos converted from close range following a corner, however the referee adjudged that the 26-year-old had pushed Mikey Johnston in the penalty area.
Following a brief delay, VAR ruled that a push had occurred and that the goal would be disallowed, much to the amusement of the home fans – who made their feelings known.Rangers are completely outnumbered at Parkhead following the decision to ban away supporters from attending Old Firm fixtures.
