David is one of the youngest people in the U.S. to earn a high school diploma.

You have to keep answering the questions, because you don’t want to say, ‘Just leave me alone.’” In 2020, they moved then-7-year-old David into the online learning program Reach Cyber, which emphasizes individualized curriculums. Later, when the College Board’s Advanced Placement testing enrollment website had no option for his birth year, his parents got on the phone and had a weeks-long back-and-forth to get him on the list.
