The Mohave County Sheriff's Office is asking for the community's help in identifying a dead body that was found in a wash in Katherine Heights.
A body was found in Mohave County on Aug. 27 and the county sheriff is asking the public for help in identifying the victim., officers responded to a call regarding a dead body around 1 p.m. on Aug. 27. Officers found the body in a wash near East Andalman Avenue and Gateway Drive in Katherine Heights, outside of Bullhead City.
The reporting party told officers that he was riding his UTV when he noticed the dead body in the wash, the post said. Due to the condition of the victim, he was unable to be identified and was transferred to the Mohave County Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy, according to the Sheriff's Office.
The Mohave County Medical Examiner's Office provided a physical description of the victim, which said he was a white male adult between the ages of 20 and 40 with light brown/reddish colored hair. The medical examiner also said that he was approximately 6'2" and 230 pounds with size 13 shoes, a photo of which were included in the post.
"After continuous investigations of currently listed missing subjects in Mohave County, Detectives are reaching out to the community for assistance in identifying the deceased subject," the Sheriff's Office said.
