The U.S. is leaving tariffs on some $250 billion worth of Chinese goods in place until a phase two trade deal is reached.

CNBC on Wednesday that Trump would consider easing tariffs with further rollbacks in a future Phase Two trade deal with China.

Mnuchin also reiterated that accusations of forced technology transfers and intellectual property theft will be resolved in the first phase of the trade deal.
