Carroll had a 15 percent walk rate in the minors but he has yet to draw a walk in 60 plate appearances this season. He leads the team in strikeouts with 15 and is chasing outside the zone to a mildly concerning degree. But only mildly, because the guy is banging the dang baseball around.
